Canton Marketplace Under New Ownership and Making Exciting Updates
April 24, 2016 – Canton, Texas. New owners, Doug and Laurie Ann Dutton, recently purchased Canton Marketplace, Canton Marketplace Self Storage and Canton Marketplace RV Park along with a few other assets. They are excited about these properties and have already started making updates. New steps have been built in the front of the building for easy customer access and the internet service has been upgraded for maximum efficiency. The electric and air conditioning equipment have been upgraded as well to ensure that vendors and customers can shop in comfort. Both trolleys have been repaired and are in good working order. Canton Marketplace will continue to offer trolley transportation free of charge to Canton visitors.
The Duttons have hired Marketing and PR Firm, the Time Group from Irving, Texas. The Time Group has built a new website and mobile app, produced TV ads featuring the vendors that will be aired on HGTV, and executed a social media and email marketing campaign. Over 50,000 email invites will be sent out monthly to people from Oklahoma City to Shreveport with the goal of bringing new visitors to Canton, Texas and Canton Marketplace.
Monthly contests will be an exciting part of the Canton Marketplace shopping experience. These contests include $500 shopping sprees and winning designer purses. A specialty booth called Vintage Ten has been added that raises money for charities that support women and youth initiatives. Vintage Ten offers new and slightly used designer brands for only $10 per item. Proceeds go to support these deserving charities.
“We are excited about being a part of the Canton community and look forward to many more enhancements in the near future.” says owner Doug Dutton.
